Starting with Slöjd is a monthly program for early elementary students who want to start crafting! Whether we’re playing with wool, wire, paper, or more, we’ll explore new tools, materials, and skills that prepare kids for a lifelong love of slöjd (handcraft). ASI designed these drop-off programs for students in grades K – 2.
Anna Ruhland will guide students in creating colorful “stained glass” collages inspired by artist Ann Wolff. Students will make vibrant window hangings that catch the sunlight using wax paper, glue, and tissue paper.
