School Break Camp: Swedish Celebrations Throughout the Year

What holidays do families in Sweden celebrate that many Minnesotans don’t? In this one-day camp, kids ages 6–10 will explore the Swedish calendar through music, movement, stories, and hands-on activities. ASI educators guide children through the year, using all five senses to experience each celebration like a Swede.

Registration closes three weeks before the camp start date, on Monday, January 5, at 10 am.

One adult receives museum admission to explore the Turnblad Mansion and current exhibition, along with access to a shared workspace during camp hours. Children should bring a lunch, a water bottle, and dress for messy art-making. Adults will receive detailed camp information after registration—advanced registration required.
