Preschool Program: Summer Nature Explorers with Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary

Come join ASI educators for a nature-packed preschool program with Garden Naturalists at the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary. Through songs and storytime, little ones will learn about bees, butterflies, and other pollinators important jobs before heading out on a guided sensory hike to discover the colors, sounds, and textures of summer.

This program meets in front of the Visitor Shelter. From the garden’s parking lot, walk down the stairs or use the footpath to the far right if using a stroller. After entering the front gate, follow the trail to the left to reach the Visitor Shelter and settle in on the blankets for storytime. This program is designed for children ages 3-5 and their favorite grown-ups. Registration is limited to one adult per preschooler.

ASI may close and cancel programs in the case of severe weather. ASI contacts program registrants directly via email or phone in case of weather closures, and closure information is posted on our website and social media accounts.
In the case that ASI remains open for programming during inclement weather, absent registrants are not eligible for refunds.

This program will happen rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather.
