Preschool Program: Spring Nature Explorers with Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary

In Sweden, preschoolers build a deep connection with nature, integral to their early education and development. This connection is fostered through various approaches, including outdoor learning. Swedish preschools emphasize outdoor activities, often holding classes in forests, parks, and nature reserves.

ASI will embrace this approach this May as we invite preschoolers and their favorite grown-ups to join us at the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary. Join ASI educators Jessica Karlsson and Lindsey Tscherne for a nature-based preschool program with Garden Naturalists at the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary. We’ll read stories and sing songs before using our five senses on a guided sensory hike in search of spring wildflowers as the Garden wakes up after the long winter!

Adult accompaniment is required. Advanced registration is required for all Preschool Programs. Limit one adult per child. Registration includes one adult and one child.

The Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary is located at 1 Theodore Wirth Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55405.
