Explore Swedish (and Swedish-American) traditions with your little one. Together we’ll answer the questions “What do Swedish families do throughout the year?” and “Why do they do it?”. This program is specifically designed for children ages 3–5 and their favorite grownups. Adult accompaniment is required and advance registration is required for all Preschool Programs. Limit one adult per registered preschooler. Free for accompanying adults.
Dr. Áila O’Loughlin will guide preschoolers through a morning of play and multi-sensory experiences. Preschoolers will explore Sámi themes from the special exhibition, Arctic Highways, through storytelling, Sámi vocabulary, and duodji (traditional Sámi handcraft).
