Bring the magic of ASI’s 75th Holiday Experience: Tomte Tales: Legends of Winter home with your own handmade tomte. This folkloric figure with a long beard and a tall red hat can be found in many Scandinavian households around the holidays. In this half-day workshop led by textile artist Melba, make two 3-4” tall tomtar using wool roving and basic three-dimensional needle felting techniques.

Prerequisites: 

Skill level: Open to all skill levels.

Ages: Suitable for ages 16+.

Tools & Materials:

A $20 materials fee is due to the instructor in class, and covers materials and tools to make two small tomtar.
