Julbord Holiday Dinner

Join ASI for a Swedish julbord, or Christmas smorgasbord, to celebrate the holiday season with friends, family, and live music. This multi-course feast from FIKA Café features Scandinavian holiday classics, including breads, herring, gravlax, deviled eggs, red cabbage, Swedish meatballs, Swedish Christmas Ham, Jannson potatoes, a variety of desserts—including Swedish Christmas Cookies and Rice Pudding—and more.

Saturday evening’s seating features live jazz from Patrick Adkins, with ASI’s holiday experience in the Turnblad Mansion available for viewing from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.  The mansion will close once dinner begins on Saturday.

Sunday’s seating features traditional Scandinavian holiday and folk music from Tjärnblom. The mansion is available for Sunday Julbord guests from 10 am – 4 pm.

Each Julbord event is arranged with tables of eight. Groups of eight sit together for a single table or meet other guests as part of the experience. Guests should share their party information at registration or before December 11 to ensure that their party can be seated together.

Museum admission, tax, and gratuity are included in each ticket price. A cash bar will be available. Please call the front desk (612-871-4907) to make reservations for children under 5 to secure the correct pricing.

ASI’s holiday season is presented by Security Bank & Trust Co.
