Intergenerational Needle Felted Winter Scene

Join felter Jen Newburg for this intergenerational class where kids and their special adults get to try out “painting with wool” together! Using a felt base stretched over a small embroidery hoop, each student (young and old!) will practice needle felting techniques to create their own unique winter scene. Will you include a snowman, tiny tomte, winter animals, or all of the above? Whatever your project contains, you’ll use felting needles, colorful wool batting, a little attention to detail, and lots of imagination and head home with a sweet new winter decoration!

Open to children 9+ alongside an accompanying adult. Children and their adults will work side-by-side on their projects throughout class. A $20 materials fee covers all the materials for one adult and one child.
