Fall is a time for tasty baked goods and Swedes of all ages eat many of them at fika, or snack time—but here’s a chance to make some treats that will be too good to eat! Whether you choose to make swirly cinnamon bun in honor of Cinnamon Bun Day (kanelbullensdag) on October 4, your favorite cookie, or even a new creation from your imagination, we’ll needle felt a fika’s worth of wooly treats in this afternoon class for kids and their special adults. Felter Jen Newburg will lead intergenerational pairs through the process of shaping and decorating their fika treats using the magical technique of needle felting, which uses a needle to poke colorful wool into place. It is a fun and easy craft for all ages! Your new treats will be perfect for display and imaginative play at home.

A $20 materials fee covers materials for two projects, one for the adult and one for the child. Each adult joins a child ages 9+.
