Intergenerational Intro to Wet Felting

Experiment with fiber arts in a relaxed, playful environment! Wet felting is the process of using wool fibers combined with water, soap, and agitation to make fabric. In this intergenerational class, instructor Anna Sharratt will lead kids and their special adults through the process of creating a 3D wet-felted object and a collaborative method of making cord. Putting these two skills together, students will choose to make a bag, pouch, or hanging sculptural object perfect for play or display! Intergenerational program: This program is for one kid and one adult to attend together, and each work on their own projects. Please reach out if you wish to confirm available space for additional children to attend with a registered adult.
