Discover the basics of green wood carving! In this intergenerational class, instructor Anna Sharratt will lead kids and their special adults through carving safety, carving knives and grips, and wood species. Whether you’re experienced or a beginner, everyone is welcome to join this cozy, supportive space to try carving and have fun. Leave class with the confidence to keep carving at home!
Intergenerational program: This program is for one kid and one adult to attend together, and each work on their own projects. Please reach out if you wish to confirm available space for additional children to attend with a registered adult.
Skill level: Open to all skill levels.
Ages: This program is for children ages 8-12 and an adult.
A $10 materials fee is due to the instructor in class and covers materials for both an adult and child to make their own projects, working side by side. Class breaks for a 30-minute lunch, plan to bring a bag lunch or purchase food from Fika Café!
