Herring Through the Ages

Have you thoroughly explored herring in all its forms? From pickled to smoked to deep fried, herring aficionado Patrice Johnson will guide participants through a meal that will take them from Viking times through to the present, with plenty of surprises. Participants will walk away with lots of ideas for incorporating herring into summer meals, from light suppers to picnic lunches.

This is a demonstration-style class and includes a light meal. Coffee and tea are provided; additional beverages are available for purchase prior to class. Please note that this menu contains fish, gluten, and dairy, so please reach out if you have questions about dietary accommodations. Weather permitting, this class will take place outside.
