Handcraft Camp

Grow your slöjd skills during this five day camp designed for young makers ages 8 – 12. Led by ASI educators, participants will work with wood, clay, wire, and more throughout the week to create several unique projects. This camp will include fun and challenging crafts for everyone.

Special guest instructors include Jess Hirsch, Sue Flanders, and Jake Fee. Parents/Gardians must be able to pick up clay projects from ASI 3 weeks after camp ends. ASI Youth & Family Programs Coordinator, Lindsey Tscherne, will notify guardians once Sue Flanders returns the projects to ASI.

Registration closes 3 weeks before the camp begins.

Please ensure that all children come prepared with their lunch, a water bottle, and sun protection. It’s important that everyone wears appropriate clothing for messy art projects and outdoor activities.

Camp starts at 9 am, so we kindly ask adults to drop off their campers 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Pick-up will be promptly at 3 pm.
