Join felter Jen Newburg in this intergenerational class where kids and their special adults get to try out “painting with wool” together. Using a felt base stretched over a small embroidery hoop, each student will practice needle felting techniques to create their own unique winter scene, complete with a tiny tomte walking across the snowy ground. Whatever the project contains, it will use felting needles, colorful wool batting, a little attention to detail, and lots of imagination. Head home with a sweet new winter decoration that can be attached to a grapevine wreath and displayed on a wall or hung on a tree for the holiday season.
