Demo: Spring at the New Scenic

The New Scenic Café is one of Minnesota’s most beloved destination restaurants on Lake Superior’s North Shore. Once again we are lucky to welcome back owner and Chef Scott Graden for a one day tour of his new cookbook. Join us for one of two seasonal menus taken from Chef Graden’s New Scenic Café: The Second Cookbook, published last year. Students will enjoy a demonstration of the menu’s dishes, insights into Chef Graden’s process, and of course, many chances to taste.

Although there may be changes based on the market, the March 26th menu will feature a Belgian endive appetizer, split pea soup, French lamb main course, and hazelnut and chocolate rulltårta. The April 23 menu will feature a roasted carrot appetizer, Vitello tonnato first course, Chilean sea bass main course, and goat cheese mousse dessert. Join us for one or both! Coffee and tea provided; additional beverages are available for purchase. Please note, vegetarian main courses are not available for this class; as always please notify ASI of allergens ahead of class so we can help you avoid them in the classroom. Suitable for ages 18+.
