Join potter Kim Burnham of Imokim Pottery to try out decorating a ceramic vessel with both carving and painting. Students will have the opportunity to sketch out their own designs or use a provided template. Kim will throw a selection of mugs and bud vases before class and then share tips and tricks for adding simple images to greenware. The pieces (approximately 4”x4”) will be glazed with a top clear coat and then fired before returning to ASI for pick up a few weeks after class. Suitable for ages 16+.
