Bent Wire Ornaments

Create whimsical bent wire ornaments in this day long class with artist Tara Sweeney! Students bring their own wire (easily found at the hardware store) and a sketchbook and practice transitioning simple shapes from page to 3-D reality. Perfect for anyone who likes working with their hands, whether you draw or not, students will draw from cookie cutters and other reference images to step by step create their own imaginative shapes. Students will leave with several bent wire ornaments suitable for finishing with a ribbon or decorative cord for gift giving, decorating, or marking the page in a book. No previous experience necessary. Suitable for ages 18+.
