Beginning Spinning on a Hand Spindle

Spin the night away as you transform fibers into hand spun yarn! This hands-on class with fiber artist Riley Kleve welcomes beginning spinners to essentials of yarn making using a simple and portable tool, the hand spindle. From spindle selection through a quick fiber overview, to inspiration for future spinning opportunities, Riley will cover these basics as students practice using a provided spindle. Whatever your yarn dreams may be, whether you hope to spin on a wheel or you want a simple craft to take on the go, this class will get you started! Please note, spinning requires motor skills in two hands. Suitable for ages 16+.

A $15 materials fee is payable to the instructor and covers all materials and tools use in class.
