This October, dig into new inspiration for autumn’s bounty of locally and thoughtfully grown sustainable ingredients. In this evening class, Author Beth Dooley and photographer Mette Nielsen will demonstrate recipes from their 2021 cookbook, The Perennial Kitchen: Simple Recipes for a Healthy Future. As they cook, Beth and Mette will share tips, stories, unique local products, and opportunities to taste!
From grains to beans and heritage flours to produce, each recipe will highlight delicious ingredients from local, regenerative farms that are as good for us as they are for the land. Students will leave with recipes for new favorite dishes and new connections to resilient and regenerative food systems.
This class is demonstration-based and includes small bites and a recipe packet. Students are invited to bring their own copy of the cookbook for reference and signing or may purchase one from the authors.
