Autumn Abundance in Watercolor

This class runs Wednesday, November 1 and Thursday, November 2, from 10 am–5 pm.

Celebrate the harvest and become immersed in fall colors, patterns, and shapes in this two-day watercolor workshop! Working from props brought from home including seasonal produce and items from nature, students will practice drawing with ink and painting with watercolor from direct observation. Instructor Tara Sweeney will also provide a variety of creative prompts to approach still-life painting with new verve. Over two days, students will create several original artworks capturing the abundance of autumn, suitable for displaying or sharing.

This class format combines step-by-step tutorials, class sharing, creative prompts, and individualized feedback and is suitable for all levels of experience. No prior drawing or painting experience is needed!
